Denver Mill Levy Services

Rocky Mountain Human Services believes that by empowering people with the resources they need to reach their full potential, Colorado will thrive as an inclusive place where everyone matters.

As the Community Centered Board (CCB) for Denver, RMHS is the access point for Denver residents to determine intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) and developmental delay, receive case management and access service coordination. The Denver taxpayers have dedicated a portion of their property taxes in the form of mill levy funding to benefit Denver residents with an I/DD, developmental delay or those individuals seeking I/DD eligibility.

RMHS contracts with Denver Human Services (DHS) to administer a robust Mill Levy program through three main areas.

2023 Mill Levy Community Forum

Enhancement of services that RMHS provides, including music class, personal care and standardized safety items.

Residents and their families can request services and supports that meet their individual needs including respite, medical equipment, food, clothing and recreation activities.

RMHS provides mill levy funding for organizations that provide unique services and resources to Denver residents.

This three-pronged approach allows us the meet our primary goals to increase access to programs and increase flexible service and provider options to meet individualized needs.

For any questions about these programs, please contact us at or call (303) 636-5600 or join us at our next Community Advisory Council meeting.
