2018 Point In Time Count

On January 29, 2018, RMHS’ Homes for All Veterans (HAV) teams provided over 100 combined hours and conducted over 160 surveys for the annual Point In Time survey for Denver and El Paso County, asking individuals and families where they slept on the night of Sunday, January 28th.

In Denver, staff went out the night on Sunday, January 28th to count individuals in their camps and in the street to capture real-time data.

In Colorado Springs, staff visited local soup kitchens, grocery store parking areas, libraries, and parks to survey and collect data. Additionally, some members of the HAV team had the opportunity to join the Colorado Springs Police Department, Homeless Outreach Team (HOT), for ride-along trips to distant encampments and off-road shelters.

The Point In Time count results will be available May 2018.
