COVID Housing Stability Fund: A New Resource for Denverites with Developmental Disabilities or Delay

Limited amount of mill levy funding is now available to support housing stability for people with I/DD in Denver affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rocky Mountain Human Services is pleased to announce the creation of the COVID-19 Housing Stability Fund thanks to a new short-term contract with Denver Human Services. This specialized mill levy funding is available to help people with qualifying intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Denver who are facing housing instability due to the current public health crisis. The funding is available immediately to assist with rent or mortgage payments, temporary housing, relocation and utility assistance.

To qualify you must:

  • Have an intellectual or developmental disability or delay or have a child living in your home who has a developmental delay or disability.

  • Our intake team can help you complete the determination of developmental disability process if needed.

  • Reside within the City and County of Denver

  • Be experiencing a challenge related to the COVID-19 crisis

Our goal is to help keep as many people as possible safe during this time of crisis in our community. The process to apply is the same as client assistance requests. To apply you can contact your RMHS service coordinator or complete the online application.
