RMHS Executive Director, Shari Repinski

Shari Repinski

Chief Executive Officer

Shari Repinski is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Rocky Mountain Human Services.

Shari has worked in the service delivery system for persons with developmental disabilities for 25 years. Early experience includes working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in residential settings, conducting serious incident investigations, developing and implementing a quality assurance system for services, and administering a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities, including eight years with RMHS. More recently, Shari spent over 10 years working at the Colorado Department of Human Services/Division for Developmental Disabilities administering the Medicaid HCBS waivers for persons with developmental disabilities. During that time, she managed the quality assurance system, developed instructional manuals, and developed and implemented Rules and Regulations to monitor the quality of services to persons receiving services. As the Assistant Division Director, Shari developed and administered Medicaid programs to persons with developmental disabilities throughout the state.

Shari has a Master’s degree in Community Counseling with specific training in acute psychiatric treatment and crisis counseling and a Master’s of Business Administration in Strategic Management.

Georgia Edson

Georgia Edson

Chief Program Officer

Georgia Edson is the Chief Program Officer at Rocky Mountain Human Services.

Georgia started working in the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) system in 1995 developing residential and day programs and has advanced in the field ever since. She worked at RMHS when it was known as Denver Options for seven years in a variety of roles, such as a case manager supporting adults in developmental disability (DD) services and a clinical social worker and a program manager supporting the intake and service enrollment process. Georgia then became the case management director at Developmental Pathways for five years leading the case management and quality assurance team for children and adult services in Douglas and Arapahoe counties as well as the City of Aurora.

Most recently Georgia spent four-and-a-half years as the Division Director for the Regional Center Operations of the Colorado Department of Human Services overseeing the systems that provide state operated services for individuals with I/DD across Colorado. Georgia was accountable for financial and programmatic operations, leadership, innovation and program development.

Georgia has a master’s degree from Florida State University in social work and is a Colorado Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Nancy Stokes

Chief Financial Officer

Nancy Stokes is the Chief Financial Officer at Rocky Mountain Human Services.

Nancy brings a great deal of experience to RMHS. In her previous roles, Nancy was responsible for the operations, strategic planning, board documentation, financial performance and reporting for multiple entities at Centura Health. She oversaw the operational and financial performance of revenue cycle, quality improvement and the monitoring of quality and financial division performance.

She led successful implementations of electronic medical record conversions, accounting systems to new platform, and corporate restructures. Nancy currently serves as a member of the Legislative Council for the Home Care and Hospice Association of Colorado. Nancy is a graduate of Women’s Vision Leadership Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Regis University.

RMHS Chief Information Officer, Karla Arzola

Karla Arzola

Chief Information Officer

Karla Arzola is a Health Information Technology Executive with 20+ years of experience in delivering business solutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Master’s in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University. She is best known for her expertise in utilizing people, process, and technology as the key factors to drive transformation.

Karla’s extensive experience in progressive leadership roles include Sr Director of Information Technology at Swedish Medical Center. During her tenure, she was nominated and was a finalist in the enterprise category for the 2022’s CIO of the Year Orbie Award. She earned this nomination due to her passion to develop and help people, and for her focus on building empowered, confident, and engaged teams.

In her new role as CIO of Rocky Mountain Human Services, her focus is to develop partnerships, and drive initiatives that support Community Inclusion in Colorado. Karla serves as a board member of the Colorado Technology Association, and to the Health Information and Management System Society (HIMSS) Colorado Chapter.
