Rich’s experience in working with individuals with I/DD started with RMHS back in ’07 when he was hired on as a Community Access Partner. This position was under the SLS waiver which had him assisting individuals with meal prep/planning, accessing the community to do fun activities and assisting with paying bills such as rent, cell phone bills and utilities. In ’08 Rich stepped into the role of a Residential Specialist where he monitored individuals who lived in host homes. He would visit each host home multiple times a month to ensure their medications were given, medical appointments were up to date, and monitor their overall Health and Safety. In ’13 Rich stepped into an Assistant Manager role under the SLS program and monitored eight staff that were in a role like the Community Access Partner. In addition to managing the staff, Rich monitored all the individuals each staff member served. In late ’15 assumed his current role of Sr. Placement Specialist. Rich’s passion is to assist those in need to find the perfect home while promoting each person’s independence.

Over the past eight years Anita worked within the HCBS- DD waiver and oversees the 24-hour comprehensive residential program.
