This year’s forum, Navigating the Transition from School to Adult Life for Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), will bring together youth, students, families, and professionals to share resources and insights to support a successful transition to adulthood.
All information, including the presentation and printed hand-outs, will be available in both English and Spanish.

What to Expect
- Panel Q&A featuring RMHS staff and individuals with lived experience, highlighting Denver Mill Levy supports and the programs and services available to adults with I/DD as they transition into long-term services.
- Resource fair with community agencies offering post-secondary school supports and opportunities for youth with I/DD ages 14-21 including vocational training, day programs, information on disability advocacy, direct services, and more.
- Resources and information for youth ages 14-21 with I/DD, covering education, employment, healthcare, housing, advocacy, and community involvement.
- Opportunities to connect directly with Denver Mill Levy Program staff to share insights and feedback.
- Light refreshments at the in-person event.
This free community forum is open to all, but especially helpful for Denver families with youth ages 14-21 with I/DD.
