OBRA Specialized Services (OBRA) – Ages 18 and Older

OBRA Specialized Services allows adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) residing in nursing facilities to receive community-based supports, which are similar to State SLS. 

Qualifying for OBRA

To Qualify for OBRA Specialized Services, You Must:

  • Be 18 years old or older 
  • Reside in a nursing facility 
  • Be a resident of the state of Colorado 
  • Have a determined intellectual or developmental disability as defined by the Colorado Code of Regulations 

OBRA Services and Supports 

  • Day Programming
  • Mentorship
  • Transportation
  • Supported Employment/Job Coaching
  • Transition Services
