RMHS Participates in Veteran Stand Downs to Help Vets Experiencing Homelessness

Annual Events Provide Much-Needed Services for Vets in Denver and Colorado Springs

Every year, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs partners with organizations supporting veterans to host Veteran Stand Downs. These events provide veterans who are experiencing homelessness with supplies, services and referrals, such as food, shelter, clothing, health screenings, benefits counseling, housing solutions, employment, substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling.

The Colorado Springs Homes for All Veterans team participated in the Colorado Springs Stand Down on Oct. 16.
