Each year Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS) hosts Summerfest, a fun-filled event for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Denver. The event happens at Ruby Hill Park and has grown into a huge gathering and with more than 400 people joining the fun last year! After much thought and assessment of the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Colorado, RMHS has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

Summerfest is truly one of the best traditions at RMHS. Over the years, it has grown from a small picnic organized by the service coordination department, to a large organization-wide event that helps to bring RMHS staff and the I/DD community together. Without a doubt, Summerfest will return, better than ever!
